Polish across the everyday workspace
December closes the year with a round of refinements ahead of Maestro 3. A new module menu, download progress, page highlighting in previews, and screen capture protection join a cleaner, more consistent interface, along with fixes for image flicker, cramped dropdowns, printing, and adding apps.
New4
Move between modules faster
A new module menu gives you one place to switch between areas of Maestro.
Follow download progress
A notification now shows download progress from the document view, so you know a file is on its way.
See where you are in a preview
The file previewer highlights the page you have selected, which makes long documents easier to move through.
Screen capture protection
Maestro now blocks screen captures of protected content, adding another layer to the existing content protection.
Updates6
A clearer upload button
The upload button is larger and now has an icon, so it is easier to spot.
Print from a better place
The print button has moved within the document view, closer to where you work.
A more consistent look
Background colors are standardized, menus and dropdowns share a cleaner style, the user options menu lines up with the rest of the menu, and table rows are tidier.
Easier-to-read navigation
Hovering over sidebar items and tabs now fills them with gray instead of drawing an outline, and the filter icon has a simpler design.
Smoother FAQ
FAQ answers now open without the earlier animation lag.
Behind the scenes
We updated our build pipeline and server storage and moved time tracking to a consistent timestamp format.
Bug Fixes6
Fixed flickering and lag when profile and group pictures load in the Groups and My Groups tabs, the user table, and table rows you hover over.
Fixed modals that were too small to show every option in a dropdown, especially in filters.
Fixed the document viewer reloading after you added a comment.
Fixed printing from the document details.
Fixed the navigation bar height when the Admin & Management section is open.
Fixed a limit that stopped you from adding more than two apps.
