From shared knowledge to the next decision
October connects the information your team collects with the work that follows. Reusable workflows bring structure to intake and handoffs, while Providentia helps you develop decision criteria and options from selected sources. Decision reports can return to Maestro for review, and improvements to uploads, filenames, and search make the everyday work more dependable.
New4
Start repeatable work from a template
Build intake forms with sections and required fields, then save the workflow as a reusable template. Starting from a template creates a fresh workflow with empty answers, so the structure carries forward without copying the previous submission.
Make the next step visible
Assign a workflow to a teammate and send them an email linking to its form. The results page brings submitted answers, the current stage, and a history of stage changes together. Work can advance only along the transitions defined for that workflow.
Build decisions around your sources
In Providentia, choose the documents that should inform AI suggestions for criteria and alternatives. Generated items show their own citations, while manual entries and uncited AI suggestions are identified separately. You can also add a website as a saved snapshot of a single page; it does not automatically track later changes to the site.
Take a decision report back to the team
The Publish menu lets you download a PDF or send a report to Maestro. Choose Public or a group you own, with an optional group folder. Public reports follow the approval process. Each export is a snapshot of the decision, including its draft or finalized status.
Updates3
Explore more options without losing your work
Suggest more with AI adds alternatives to the list you already have. It preserves existing options and their scores, skips repeated names, and keeps suggestions that have arrived if you stop generation.
Recover document processing after a restart
Upload processing now saves its progress outside the running server. After a restart, interrupted jobs can resume or report a failure rather than losing their processing state, improving recovery during application updates.
Make upload destinations explicit
Uploads now require a valid destination. If destination information is missing or inconsistent, the upload is rejected rather than falling back to the public library.
Bug Fixes3
Open files with a wider range of names
Fixed preview and download failures for filenames containing characters such as smart quotes, long dashes, and non-Latin text, including files opened through Data Rooms.
See group uploads without refreshing
Group file lists now refresh after an upload completes. Re-uploading the same filename also avoids creating another list entry for the same document; duplicate entries left over from earlier uploads are not automatically removed.
Search punctuation as written
Searches containing characters such as parentheses, periods, or asterisks now treat them as part of the name. They no longer cause a search error or unexpectedly match different characters.
